The Sweet Tooth
There is always room. You've checked.
Dessert isn't the end of the meal, it's a reason to have one. You'd cross town for a pastry and you've never once regretted ordering the sweet thing.
What being The Sweet Tooth actually means
Dessert is not an afterthought you agree to, it is a reason to pick a place. You will remember a pastry longer than the main it followed, and you have crossed a city for one before. Sweet-and-savoury together is a feature, not a compromise.
How you find out
The Savor Scout taste quiz runs over seven days — five questions a day, about a minute each. Every day reads a different part of how you eat: heat, sweet, value, adventure, late nights and discovery. On the last day you get your type.
It is not a personality test for its own sake. Your answers weight what the app recommends, starting from day one, so a The Sweet Tooth and a The Firewalker searching the same words in the same town get different restaurants back.
The other types
- The Firewalker — You chase the burn, and you finish the plate.
- The Purist — You want to taste the food, not the fire.
- The Bargain Hunter — Plastic chairs, perfect food, half the price.
- The Occasion Maker — You're paying for the evening, not just the food.
- The Blind Orderer — You order the thing you can't identify.
- The Night Owl — The best food happens after dark.
- The Gem Finder — Thirty reviews beats three thousand.
